Recently Cove Water Park has changed managers and now it is preparing for the season of swimming and fun. There is plenty to do for everyone and it is a great family fun. There is so much to do and lots of great features that you can rent or even enjoy.

The park has many attractions. The Lil’ Mates’ Lagoon is a great aquatic play structure that is perfect for any child as it is equipped with a tipping bucket, spray features and small waterslides. The Crow’s Nest Slides are around 180 feet sliding fun that is located on Shipwreck Island at the Cove. The slides are great for all ages but best for those over the age of 10. The Ne’er Endin’ River will allow you to float endlessly in a tube in this great feature. You will float past Captain’s Bay, Crow’s Nest Slides, and Riptide Reef FlowRider and then under a bridge. You can wave to lifeguards and friends as you float around Shipwreck Island.

The Riptide Reef FlowRider is the place to go if you are learning to surf. The Riptide Reef or the FlowRider is able to simulate the flows of waves to allow you to surf or body board. The ride is open to anyone who is able to meet the height requirements. All of our employees have been logging long hours just practicing on FlowRider just to ensure that they have the knowledge to coach the riders of every skill levels to challenge themselves into brand new tricks. Any rider who is wanting to surf will have to sign a waiver which is located at the front desk. If the person is a minor, then the parent will also have to sign the waiver to be able to surf in Riptide Reef or FlowRider. This is something to keep in mind when you check in.

It also has a competition pool. If you are an aquatic athlete such as a diver or swimmer, then this is one place that you will love to be. The Jurupa Aquatic Center has a 35 meter by 25-yard competition pool. The standard short course pool is able to hold 13 lanes and the starting blocks will allow for smooth diving. There is also stadium seating that will hold up to 200 people and even has wheelchair accessible viewing areas.

It also has Cove Camp. This is a day camp for kids between the ages of 6 to the ages of 12 that helps to bring excitement and adventure into children’s lives while helping to integrate the importance of water safety and the Learn to Swim Program that is hosted by the American Red Cross. All of the counselors and facilities are carefully selected to make sure that every child will have a great experience at day camp. The camp has daily swim lessons, weekly themed crafts and activities, and so much more. However, it does cost $175 per child per week. Then there are additional fees of $30 per child per week for meals and $25 for early drop off per week. The early drop off is as early as 7:30 am and the hours are from 8 am to 4 pm.
