Mario’s Place has been a large part of Riverside for decades. The original restaurant was actually opened by Mario Palagi and his wife Eleonora during 1981 in what is now called the Magnolia Town Center. However, it has recently moved to the current location in 2001 to be located across from the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa.

This place is great for sweethearts to share some pasta Bolognese. If you have any type of gluten free diet or you are looking for something a bit healthier, then you will have plenty of choices when visiting. There is a bar that is located at the restaurant which is fully stocked, so you are able to pair your meal with a great glass of wine or an ice-cold beer. You can surround yourself with nice weather with a night out. Additionally, they provide free WiFi so you can have a great meal and get a bit of work done if needed.

The restaurant also offers catering, so if you are wanting to have all the flavors of great Italian food to your next event or party, then you will be set. You also have an option to place to go orders as well.

Even though waiting can feel like a really big hassle and it seems to take forever, especially if you are hungry. You can spare yourself a bit of time that you spend in the parking lot searching for a place to eat, you can dine here. They have space that will be available for you and your care and another great thing is that if you have a bike, you can make use of the safe bike rack located that the restaurant.

It has been stated that some of the most creative cuisine from the Inland Empire has come from Mario’s Place. This is a family ran restaurant that is considered to be the best. Chef Leone Palagi mixes Southern French and Northern Italian cuisine into a contemporary interpretation. The restaurant has a elegant interior that is decorated using modern paintings and Philippine mahogany. The front windows on the restaurant allow you to see the amazing turrets of the Mission Inn while they catch all of the colors of the sunset.

They also specialize in pizza, seafood, lamb, chicken, steak, and pasta. They also offer valet parking and there is no dress code, which means that you can be comfortable in your jeans and t-shirt while having amazing cuisine that will make your mouth water just thinking about it. They are only open 6 days a week, which are Monday through Saturday. Friday and Saturday, they have live music and they are open from 5:30pm until 11pm but Monday through Thursday they are open until 9:30 pm.

There is no cover charge from the live music entertainment that is hosted which starts at 10 pm and lasts until 1am, but there is a $20 minimum order per person for any table reservation.
